FAQs
Does a player have to have a physical every year?
Yes, it is required to get a physical every year. You must download the Medical Clearance form with you and bring it to your appointment, the doc will sign and stamp it.
*Medical Clearances must be completed after June 10, 2021 and BEFORE TRYOUTS!
*You MUST UPLOAD it to your players' profile account in Sports Net (links to all of the above available in the LINKS section below).
Is a concussion test required every year?
No, but it is required every 2 years.
Is it required that every family/player participate in a carpool?
Some parents cannot do carpool due to work schedules or other conflicts. We would like to have carpools spread across the entire team so one parent is not driving to all games. So if you can, please sign up for at least one slot for the season.
CLUB CONNECTION
Club volleyball allows players to develop skills during the off season of high school volleyball. In order to stay competitve in our program and in our league, we highly recommend our players participate in club level volleyball either on a team or through camps and/or clinics in the off season. There is absolutely no requirement to play club. All clubs vary in cost and competiveness; there are several in the bay area that can meet your individual needs. If you would like some input or guidence on the appropriate club for your player, please contact Coach Amy.
